This combination of herbs from various cultures gives rise to an alluring deep pink hue, tart, fruity & sweet flavor profile with a hint of spice. Name of artwork: Ms GG Bridges
Name of artist: Stephan
Stephan has served as artist-in-residence for the Art Deco Society of California. In college, he discovered the works of Aubrey Beardsley, Alphonse Mucha and, more auspiciously, Erte. This had a major impact on him and the influence could be seen in much of his work. In this piece, he was commissioned by Gregangelo to paint the bawdy and liberated woman, Goddess of the Golden Gate, a character conceived by Rita Abrams, a 2 time Emmy Award winning writer, in her song “The Golden Gate Bridge”. Inspired by the song and character, Gregangelo and Rita collaborated to produce a full scale musical production about the colorful history and hopeful future of San Francisco.
